A female Washington Post staffer said that Donald Trump hit on her after the Republican presidential candidate sat for a meeting with the paper’s editorial board on Monday.
Karen Attiah, a deputy digital editor for The Washington Post‘s opinions section, described her interactions with Trump in an opinion piece for the Post.
Attiah wrote that she questioned Trump about “if he plans to run on and/or govern on a message of racial inclusion” as the meeting was wrapping up.
After the meeting, she said she thanked Trump for taking her question.
Attiah suggested that Trump may have thought that calling her beautiful would make her “ignore the fact that he brazenly lied” about his polling among Hispanic voters, part of the subject of their exchange. Read more…
